DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "992", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, 5 adjustments, straight line damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a yellow gold filled and base metal, screw back and bezel, open face Hamilton Railroad bar over crown case, with Arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial, and blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #1136276, c1915
CONDITION: CASE: Not original to the movement; Dings ; Fine scratches on outer surface of case. DIAL: Flake at hole in seconds bit, otherwise very good. HANDS: Good, with discoloration on seconds hand. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches and scuffs on plate; Regulator spring work has minor oxidation; One balance jewel screw replaced; Jewels replaced, center wheel upper and balance endstone. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
